Posted: 02-02-2010 Website:www.nmhccf.org.au The National Mental Health Consumer and Carer Forum (NMHCCF) has identified privacy and confidentiality as a matter of great concern for mental health consumers and carers. Following the results of their survey entitled “Confidentiality and Information Sharing with Families and Carers in Mental Health”, the NMHCCF commissioned an issues paper to examine the difficulties surrounding this topic in the Australian mental health system and identify examples of best practice and some potential solutions and ways forward.
